Purpose of the LetsGetHappi! app

Mental health has been one of the most ignored parts of humans in the country.  Even after campaigning so much for inclusivity and acceptance of mental health issues, the stigma continues to exist. A need for helping people get better has struck us as more important than just getting rid of the stigma. Therefore, we made an app where everyone can get therapy without having to reveal their identities, any time of the day, and without emptying their bank accounts.

We have tried to make the most affordable therapy app possible. The features of the app are free on launch. The only pricing is based on the therapy appointments priced at Rs. 500 per appointment.

The app is designed to become more personalized the more you use it. The self-assessment tests you give, the notes you journal, and the psychologist’s diagnosis and suggestions, all play a role to make it easy for you to get to the slightly unique set of tools that you need, dictated by your needs.

There are two ways to contact a therapist.

One way is to book an appointment and have a whole dedicated session for yourself.

However, in cases of emergency like the one described above, one can use the emergency call feature and talk to a psychologist immediately.

Scheduling an appointment gives you a 45 – 60 minute session with a psychologist whereas an emergency call usually ends in 15 minutes based on the on-call psychologist’s discretion. A scheduled appointment gives a psychologist more time and resources to help the client while emergency calls are made for emergencies where the psychologist’s focus is more on quick relief than a long-term solution. Scheduled appointments are chargeable at the price of Rs. 500 while Emergency calls are completely free.

Yes, the app can be used as a tool for the maintenance and betterment of mental health. Our features such as meditations, journalling, and affirmations, along with others, can help one progress in all paths of life.

If you think you have a mental health problem, the first step to take is to get a formal diagnosis. Self-diagnosis is dangerous and even our test results must be taken as predictions rather than absolute facts. Set an appointment with one of our therapists to get a clear diagnosis and a plan of action along with it.
