Ask yourself:
- Is this feeling temporary or long-lasting?
- How could this emotion affect the outcome of my decision?
By practising self-regulation, you can prevent emotions like anger or fear from taking control and ensure your choices are thoughtful and measured. These components—self-awareness, self-regulation, and empathy—are interconnected. Together, they help us navigate emotional complexities and make better decisions. By developing your emotional intelligence, you can approach life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
